Hello My Home Schooling Friends!!!

Thank you all so much for coming and joining us at the homeschool meeting last night. I am so glad you were all blessed and really give thanks to the Lord. We are all so blessed to have the opportunity to homeschool our precious gifts from above. I am so grateful to have all the different ideas and backgrounds we each bring to the group as a whole may we embrace our differences and have a blessed
year to come.

Father, I thank you for each mother who will be homeschooling this year ,I pray your hedge of protection over each household. I pray Lord that each husband and wife would be likeminded and seek your will to be done in the teaching of their children. Father I lift every child to you right now and ask that you protected them from the enemy that you would open their eyes to see and their ears to hear all that you would have for them to learn and Father most importantly that it would pierce their very hearts and they may become not only hearers of your word
but doers of your word. Father I pray for every mom who couldn't make our meeting I lift them up and ask you make a way for them to be at the next one Father we thank you for the priviledge of homeschooling our kiddo's and ask you to now be our strength throughout the year to come In Jesus Name Amen.............

God bless each one of you as you embarq on this amazing journey and if you have any questions at all fill free to ask I would love to help if I can.

Until Next Time,
Cindy

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding ,in all your ways acknowledge Him, and HE shall direct and guide your paths"

Good Evening My Friend's

Well I made it thru the weekend ...... it was a blessing fellowship was great. I have used the last few days to rest and reflect on some things the Lord has or is bringing me through.

As a few of you know the last two scrap weekends my husband and I have gone through a bit of warfare. We were going to spend time on Sunday after church together to make up for time lost while I was away scrapping ......... However Greg was called into work came home late Sunday
evening and woke up at 5:30 the next morning and flew via helicopter to work in the Grand Canyon and will return tomorrow just before I leave for church so it has been a lonely couple of days......... well not as lonely as I expected the Lord has used this time as a time of reflection on where my marriage is now after 11 years of marriage , you see it was all the Lord's plan He allows everything for good to those who are called AMEN. My husband and I have had our share of issues and I am now at liberty to speak about the very real fact that we were VERY close to a divorce at one point and to my surprise it was actually all my fault. You see we go into relationships most of the times not always but most of the times expecting the other party to fulfill expectations or to meet our every need and not willing to sacrifice for the other party when really that is what we are to do. You see I expected my every need to be fulfilled no matter what .....yes very selfish (only God can fill our every need)
however a light went off and the Lord has awakened my heart to things I knew yet was not applying to my own marriage. We are called to "RESPECT" our husbands always not when we feel like it or when things are going good or when we are feeling loved but always and at times we may have to suffer and sink in the ship and go with the things our husbands decide even when we know they are wrong because in the end the HUSBAND is the head of the household he is the final decision maker. Now please dont misunderstand I am not saying we are to do nothing we are called to pray without ceasing and to be a helpmeet and give opinions and offer sound advice however we have to allow room for the Lord to work and mistakes to be made. We CANNOT BE OUR HUSBANDS HOLY SPIRIT'S I had to learn that the very hard way at a high price of lost joy in our marriage and priceless time lost in which we cannot get back.
I now know that the Lord is in control of my husband and He alone will change him nothing I say or do will make him more Godly and who are we to think it can. I am so thankful my husband has put up with my many ungodly issues and has held out and seen them through and I pray we are blessed with many more amazing years. I know my role as his wife is to esteem him higher than myself and to respect him and submit to him and with God I am able to do that with the Holy Spirit leading me. So these last few days the Lord has allowed me to miss him like crazy and that is new for me I have always enjoyed my time away from my husband for a little while however my heart has really ached for him these past few days and given me a renewed love for him thank you Jesus. So I am encouraging you if your marriage is not what you thought it was to be... I encourage you to examine your own hearts rather then trying to find fault in your mate and pray the Lord will work in you both bringing you both closer to each other as well as to Him.
See when trouble comes in our marriages as it does to us all at one point or another ,God is great and we are small, however there is nothing we need to fear if we have the faith in God that where ever the Lord takes us He will also be there waiting to help us, to bear our pain ,our suffering is never too much to yield to God's gracious, merciful, touch!
"THE LORD IS GRACIOUS, AND SLOW TO ANGER, AND OF GREAT MERCY. THE LORD IS GOOD TO ALL: AND HIS TENDER MERCIES ARE OVER ALL HIS WORKS. PSALM 145:8/9

IF WE ARE TO BE IN CHRIST'S IMAGE THEN SHALL WE NOT SHOW FULL COMPASSION
TO OUR HUSBANDS, AND BE SLOW TO ANGER AND OF MERCY OURSELVES???
Something to ponder on the next time we are quick to point our fingers to our hubby's and point out what they may or may not be fulfilling.
I have been praying this sweet prayer of patience written by a women named:Helen Rice

"A PRAYER FOR PATIENCE"
GOD, TEACH ME TO BE PATIENT
TEACH ME TO GO SLOW
TEACH ME HOW TO "WAIT ON YOU"
WHEN MY WAY I DO NOT KNOW ....
TEACH ME SWEET FORBEARANCE
WHEN THINGS DO NOT GO RIGHT
SO I REMAIN UNRUFFLED
WHEN OTHERS GROW UPTIGHT...
TEACH ME HOW TO QUIET
MY RACING, RISING HEART
SO I MAY HEAR THE ANSWER
YOU ARE TRYING TO IMPART...
TEACH ME TO LET GO DEAR GOD,
AND PRAY WITH OUT CEASING UNTIL
MY HEART IS FILLED WITH INNER PEACE
AND I LEARN TO KNOW YOUR WILL!

"BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD........" PSALM 46:10
May God give us all a great love and respect for the husbands He has blessed each one of us with
and may we pray for them daily and miss them whenever they are away.
God bless each of you and your marriages and families!
until next time,
Love your Sis In Christ,

CYCLES OF CHANGE!!

Hello my faithful sister's,
I know it has been over a week or so since I have blogged seems as if it has been much longer,
however only about a week. Today I feel led to share on the cycles of change we all go through
often and how it brings about growth, the Lord takes us through many seasons and for some time now we have been on a hill top in almost every area of life , however as some of you know
we are now in the midst of a trial and the thing that took me by surprise is that I had foolishly aloud my guard to fall knowing the enemy lurkes around and is just waiting for our weaknesses to show themselves. I had forgotten to appreciate the season I was in and to know it could go away as fast as it came, with the next season awaiting. He has taught me that I need to cling to Him even more in the good times....... and not that I wasn't I have been in word daily and I have praised Him.......However I let my guards down and you really never can do that we are called to stay ARMORED UP DAILY..... so I am thankful for His tender mercies and that He can use a trial to focus me solely on Him again. I am also looking at it as a test... you see it is sooooooo easy for us to be joyful and doing great when we are on those hill tops of life, however it is when the sudden changes of life come that count the most! How will we respond is so important because how we respond to adversity, is when our belief in JESUS becomes visible to those around us.
Adversity can be painful, however the Lord uses it to further HIS purposes and equip us to carry out HIS plans for our lives. The Lord uses trials and hardships for a few things:
1) TO PREPARE US FOR HIS WORK
2) TO TEACH US TO OBEY (HEBREWS 5:8)
3) TO BROADEN OUR MINISTRY
Difficulties can also be used by the Lord as a tool in preventing a problem from consistantly happening. When disobedience threatens our walk with the Lord He will take whatever steps
that are needed to draw us near to Him once again. He may allow a need to go unmet or something cherished to be removed. His purpose is that we are being restored to Him. We may not know the reasons we are going through a current trial or hardship However He has shown me time and time again we are to trust in Him that is the wisest choice we can make. In Roman's
8:28 it says "HE who saved us through the sacrifice of His Son has promised to use our sufferings
to bring about eternal good." AMEN My prayer for myself as I am going through this trial as well as any of you who are or will be soon going thru a trial would be to remember that if we believe that God keeps His promises, we will become stronger in our faith and more at peace and the hardships that once would have devestated us would now seem to lose there power and it be replaced with the hope that thru this trial the Lord is making us more like Christ and less like ourselves. The Lord has shown me today that it is my emotions that are being tested you see in the past I have let my emotions dictate my actions and I was not trusting in my loving Father to show me the way out, I wanted the way out and wanted it now and at any cost that's not being CHRIST like at all. See in Mark 3:21 Jesus' own people (family) questioned His actions and He was rejected by those HE sought to serve in (John:6:66) and even so He NEVER allowed such circumstances to control HIS emotions or dictate HIS actions. Instead , HE chose to trust that the FATHER was able to carry out HIS word ............. so how much more should I trust in the Father for my trials as well???? SO I pray that I as well as you all remember to ask ourselves when we find ourselves in these hardships/ trials "what is the Lord trying to teach us in the midst of these trials? and "are we co-operating with our FATHER" ?? I have to admit the trial hit home this past Friday and I was not co-operating with the Father I was not happy and the Lord mercifully showed me that my joy "IS NOT FOUND IN MY CIRCUMSTANCES" HOWEVER FOUND IN HIS WORD HIS LOVE HIS FAITHFULNESS "PRAISE GOD" that HE loves us and promises us never to give us more than we can handle and never to leave us nor forsake us we truly are blessed no matter how grave our situations may be!!!!
I ask you all for continued prayer and when we are thru this trial (Lord led) I will share. May you all have a blessed week and may our Lord multiply your efforts each one!
In His Love,
until next time,
Cindy
